حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ صَوْتَ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ ، فَقَالَ : " لَقَدْ أُوتِيَ أَبُو مُوسَى مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard the recitation of Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him), so he said: He has been given a portion of the melodious voice of the family of Dawood.
