Hadith 2533

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) went out on the day of Eid and did not offer any prayer before it nor after it. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to the women along with Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), and he preached to them and advised them, and instructed them to give charity. Upon this, the women began to take off their earrings and rings, etc., and give them in charity.
