حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ مِنْ بَنِي تَيْمٍ ، يُقَالُ لَهُ : طَلْحَةُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ، قَالَتْ : تَنَاوَلَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقُلْتُ : إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ ، فَقَالَ : " وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) extended his hand to kiss me, so I said that I am fasting. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "I am also fasting."
