Hadith 25287

حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُرْوَةَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كُنْتُ أُطَيِّبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأَطْيَبِ مَا أَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ ، ثُمَّ يُحْرِمُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that before entering into Ihram, I applied the best and finest fragrance to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), after which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would assume Ihram.
