حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اشْتَكَى رَقَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام ، فَقَالَ : " بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ ، مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ يَشْفِيكَ ، مِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ ذِي عَيْنٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell ill, Hazrat Jibreel (peace be upon him) would recite this and blow over him: "In the name of Allah, I perform ruqyah for you, that He may cure you from every illness, from the evil of the envier when he envies, and from the evil of every evil eye."
