حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ مِنْ أَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ ، فَذَكَرَتْ شَيْئًا قَلِيلًا ، فَقَالَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَعْطِي وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعَى عَلَيْكِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once a beggar asked her for something, so she told the servant, and he brought something. On this occasion, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "O Aisha! Do not give by counting, otherwise Allah will also count for you."
