حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نِيَارٍ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : " أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِظَبْيَةِ خَرَزٍ فَقَسَمَهَا لِلْحُرَّةِ وَلِلْأَمَةِ " ، وَقَالَتْ : كَانَ أَبِي يَقْسِمُ لِلْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدِ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a pouch containing gems was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed those gems among free and slave women, and my father also used to distribute them among slaves and free people.
