حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ . وَحُسَيْنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ : سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ جُلُودِ الْمَيْتَةِ ؟ فَقَالَ : " دِبَاغُهَا طَهُورُهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a person asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the skins of dead animals, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Their tanning is their purification.
