حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمُرَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ . قَالَ : قُلْتُ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْفَعُ صَوْتَهُ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ ؟ قَالَتْ : " رُبَّمَا رَفَعَ ، وَرُبَّمَا خَفَضَ " .
Yahya bin Ya'mar says that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "Tell me, did the Prophet (peace be upon him) recite aloud or silently?" She replied, "Sometimes aloud and sometimes silently."
