Hadith 25192

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when it was said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that such-and-such person is ill and is not eating anything, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: "Take porridge (even though it may not be pleasing to the taste, it is very beneficial) and feed it to him. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, it cleanses your stomach just as one of you washes his face with water and cleans it from dirt."
