حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ ذَكْوَانَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " تُزَوَّجُ الْمَرْأَةُ لِثَلَاثٍ : لِمَالِهَا وَجَمَالِهَا وَدِينِهَا ، فَعَلَيْكَ بِذَاتِ الدِّينِ تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A woman is married for three reasons: for her wealth, for her beauty, and for her religion. May Allah bless you, give preference to the one who has religion.
