حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ ، عَنْ طَلْقِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " يُغْتَسَلُ مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، وَالْجَنَابَةِ ، وَالْحِجَامَةِ ، وَغَسْلِ الْمَيِّتِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Ghusl (ritual bath) will be performed for four things: on the day of Jumu'ah (Friday), due to janabah (major ritual impurity), due to cupping, and due to giving a bath to a deceased person.
