It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I have not seen a woman who cooked better food than Hazrat Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her). Once, she sent a dish to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in which there was food. I could not control myself and broke that dish. Then I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is its expiation?" So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "A dish like the dish and food like the food."
