حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ يُحَدِّثُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ يُحَدِّثُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَدَعُ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never omitted four rak'ahs before Zuhr and two rak'ahs before Fajr under any circumstances.
