Hadith 25126

Shurayh says: I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the ruling of making up a missed prayer after Asr prayer. She replied: You can perform it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had forbidden your people, meaning the people of Yemen, from offering voluntary prayers at the time of sunrise.
