It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I used to perform ruqyah (protective supplication) for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) against the evil eye, and I would do so by placing my hand on his chest and reciting this supplication: "O Lord of the people! Remove his pain, grant him healing, for You are the only healer. There is no healing except Your healing."
