حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ . وَأَبِي حَصِينٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ وَثَّابٍ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ وَتْرِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَقَالَتْ : " مِنْ كُلِّ اللَّيْلِ قَدْ أَوْتَرَ ، وَسَطَهُ وَآخِرَهُ ، وَأَوَّلَهُ ، فَانْتَهَى وِتْرُهُ إِلَى السَّحَرِ حَتَّى مَاتَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered Witr in the beginning, middle, and last part of the night, and his Witr would reach up to the time of Suhoor, until he passed away.
