حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ : " أَيُبَاشِرُ الصَّائِمُ يَعْنِي امْرَأَتَهُ ؟ قَالَتْ : لَا . قُلْتُ : أَلَيْسَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ كَانَ يُبَاشِرُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ ؟ قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمْلَكَكُمْ لِإِرْبِهِ " .
Aswad bin Yazid (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) whether a fasting person can touch his body with his wife's body. She said, "No." I said, "Did not the Prophet (peace be upon him) do this while fasting?" She replied, "The Prophet (peace be upon him) had more control over his desires than you."
