حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا زَالَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام يُوصِينِي بِالْجَارِ حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ يُوَرِّثُهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Gabriel (peace be upon him) continued to advise me to treat the neighbor well, until I thought he would make him an heir.
