حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ طَاوسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : وَهِمَ عُمَرُ ، إِنَّمَا " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ أَنْ يُتَحَرَّى طُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ وَغُرُوبُهَا " .
Hazrat Aisha says that Hazrat Umar has become confused in this matter; in fact, the Prophet (peace be upon him) had prohibited that prayer be performed at the time of sunrise or sunset.
