حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : " إِنْ كَانَ لَيُوحَى إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ ، فَتَضْرِبُ بِجِرَانِهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that sometimes revelation would descend upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he was on his mount, and the animal would lower its neck to the ground.
