حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ وَمَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ إِذَا سَكَتَ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ ، صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ " ، تَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that when the muezzin would become silent after the call to the Fajr prayer, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would perform two short rak'ahs.
