حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ ، هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ " . فَقُلْتُ : عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ ، تَرَى مَا لَا نَرَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) once said to me that Hazrat Jibreel (peace be upon him) is conveying greetings of peace to you. She replied, "And peace and mercy of Allah be upon him, O Messenger of Allah! You see what we cannot see."
