حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي عُرْوَةُ : إِنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَوْمَئِذٍ لَتَعْلَمُ يَهُودُ أَنَّ فِي دِينِنَا فُسْحَةً ، إِنِّي أُرْسِلْتُ بِحَنِيفِيَّةٍ سَمْحَةٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that one day the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: The Jews should know that there is great flexibility in our religion, and I have been sent with the pure religion of Hanif.
