حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " وَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَقْنِي عَلَى مَنْكِبَيْهِ لِأَنْظُرَ إِلَى زَفْنِ الْحَبَشَةِ ، حَتَّى كُنْتُ الَّتِي مَلِلْتُ فَانْصَرَفْتُ عَنْهُمْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that once on the day of Eid, some Abyssinians were performing acrobatics in front of the Prophet (peace be upon him). I rested my head on the shoulder of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and started peeking to watch them. The Prophet (peace be upon him) lowered his shoulder for me. I kept watching them, and when I was satisfied, I returned.
