حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو صَخْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي قُسَيْطٍ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَتْهُ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ مِنْ عِنْدِهَا لَيْلًا ، قَالَتْ : فَغِرْتُ عَلَيْهِ ، قَالَتْ : فَجَاءَ فَرَأَى مَا أَصْنَعُ ، فَقَالَ : " مَا لَكِ يَا عَائِشَةُ ، أَغِرْتِ ؟ " قَالَتْ : فَقُلْتُ : وَمَا لِي أَنْ لَا يَغَارَ مِثْلِي عَلَى مِثْلِكَ ؟ ! فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَفَأَخَذَكِ شَيْطَانُكِ ؟ قَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَوَمَعِي شَيْطَانٌ ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " . قُلْتُ : وَمَعَ كُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " . قُلْتُ : وَمَعَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ ، وَلَكِنَّ رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى أَسْلَمَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to me at night. I felt great jealousy. After a little while, the Prophet (peace be upon him) returned, and seeing my condition, said: "Aisha! What is the matter? Have you become jealous?" I replied, "Why should a wife like me not be jealous of a husband like you?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Has your Satan taken hold of you?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Is there a Satan with me too?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Yes!" I asked, "Is there a Satan with every human being?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Yes!" I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Is there one with you too?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Yes! But Allah Almighty has helped me against him and he has become a Muslim."
