حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ : حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، كَانَتْ ، تَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ يُصَابُ بِهَا الْمُسْلِمُ إِلَّا كُفِّرَ بِهَا عَنْهُ ، حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whenever a Muslim is pricked by a thorn or suffers any affliction even less than that, his sins are expiated in return for it.
