حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ ابْنِ صَفِيَّةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " أَوْلَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ بِمُدَّيْنِ مِنْ شَعِيرٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) held the wedding banquet (walima) for some of his noble wives with only two mudd of barley.
