حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ زُرَارَةَ بْنَ أَوْفَى ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَيَتَعَاهَدُهُ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ شَدِيدٌ ، فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ ، قَالَ : " وَمَثَلُ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهُوَ حَافِظٌ ، مَثَلُ السَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَامِ الْبَرَرَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever recites the Noble Qur'an with proficiency will be with the righteous and honorable angels, and whoever recites it with difficulty and perseverance will have a double reward.
