حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ : مَا كَانَ يَصْنَعُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ ؟ قَالَتْ : " كَانَ يُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ " .
Shurayh says that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) what the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to do before leaving the house. She replied that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to first perform two rak'ahs and then go out.
