Hadith 24776

حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا عَادَ مَرِيضًا ، قَالَ : " أَذْهِبْ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ ، وَاشْفِ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي ، وَلَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) visited a sick person, he would recite this supplication: "O Lord of the people! Remove his suffering, grant him healing, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing. Grant such a healing that leaves no trace of illness."
