حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ نُوقِشَ الُْحِساَبَ ، لَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ " . قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَأَيْنَ قَوْلُهُ : يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا سورة الانشقاق آية 8 ؟ قَالَ : " ذَاكَ الْعَرْضُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, whoever is called to account will be punished. I said: Has Allah Almighty not said, "Soon an easy account will be taken"? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: That will not be an actual account; that will be a mere presentation. And whoever is debated with regarding the account on the Day of Resurrection, he will be seized by punishment.
