Urwah narrates that a person asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) what the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to do in his house. She replied: He did as any one of you does; the Prophet (peace be upon him) would mend his own sandals and patch his own clothes himself.
