Abu Umamah bin Sahl says that one day I and Urwah bin Zubair went to the service of Hazrat Aisha Siddiqa. She said: I wish you both had seen the Prophet (peace be upon him) on the day he fell ill. At that time, I had six or seven dinars with me. The Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered me to distribute them, but due to his illness, I could not find the opportunity, until the Prophet (peace be upon him) recovered and asked me about them: What happened to those six (or seven) dinars? I replied: By Allah, I have not been able to do it yet; your illness kept me occupied. The Prophet (peace be upon him) had them brought and placed them on his palm and said: What would the Prophet of Allah think if he were to meet Allah in this state, while these were still with him?
