(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
الْفَضْلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ
سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ
عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ
ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حُكْمًا ، وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ سِحْرًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some poetry is full of wisdom, and some speech has an effect like magic."
