حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، وَالْخُزَاعِيُّ , قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنَا أُمُّ بَكْرٍ بِنْتُ الْمِسْوَرِ ، قَالَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ : عَنْ أُمِّ بَكْرٍ بِنْتِ الْمِسْوَرِ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ بَاعَ أَرْضًا لَهُ مِنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ بِأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفَ دِينَارٍ ، فَقَسَمَهُ فِي فُقَرَاءِ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ ، وَفِي الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَأُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ . قَالَ الْمِسْوَرُ : فَأَتَيْتُ عَائِشَةَ بِنَصِيبِهَا , فَقَالَتْ : مَنْ أَرْسَلَ بِهَذَا ؟ فَقُلْتُ : عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَتْ : أَمَا إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : وَقَالَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " لَا يَحْنُو عَلَيْكُنَّ بَعْدِي إِلَّا الصَّابِرُونَ " سَقَى اللَّهُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ مِنْ سَلْسَبِيلِ الْجَنَّةِ.
Umm Bakr bint Maswar says that once Abdur Rahman bin Awf sold one of his lands to Uthman for forty thousand dinars, and he distributed all this amount among the poor of Banu Zuhra, the emigrants, and the Mothers of the Believers. Maswar says that I took Aisha's share to her. She asked, "Who sent this?" I replied, "Abdur Rahman bin Awf." She said, "I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say that after me, those who will show kindness to you will be the patient ones. May Allah give Abdur Rahman bin Awf to drink from the Salsabeel of Paradise."
