حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُفَضَّلٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، قَالَ : نُبِّئْتُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يُصَلِّي فِي شُعُرِنَا " قَالَ بِشْرٌ : هُوَ الثَّوْبُ الَّذِي يُلْبَسُ تَحْتَ الدِّثَارِ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not use to pray in our "shi'ar". Bishr says that "shi'ar" refers to the garment that is worn on the body underneath the outer garment.
