حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَعَلَيْهِ مِرْطٌ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْمُرَحَّلَاتِ ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي وَعَلَيْهِ بَعْضُهُ ، وَعَلَيَّ بَعْضُهُ ، وَالْمِرْطُ مِنْ أَكْسِيَةٍ سُودٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that sometimes when the Prophet (peace be upon him) would wake up at night and pray, one corner of the blanket would be over the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the other corner would be over Aisha, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) would continue to pray.
