حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " خَمْسٌ فَوَاسِقُ يُقْتَلْنَ فِي الْحِلِّ وَالْحَرَمِ : الْحَيَّةُ ، وَالْغُرَابُ الْأَبْقَعُ ، وَالْفَأْرَةُ ، وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ ، وَالْحِدَأَةُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Five things are among the "fawasiq" which may be killed in the Haram: the scorpion, the mouse, the kite, the rabid dog, and the crow.
