حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ يَعْنِي الْقَرِيعِيَّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَمَّاسٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ تُحَدِّثُ ، تَقُولُ : " نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْحَنْتَمِ وَهُوَ الْجَرُّ ، وَالدُّبَّاءِ ، وَالنَّقِيرِ ، وَعَنِ الْمُزَفَّتِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from using vessels called naqir, dubba, muzaffat, and hantam.
