Hadith 24654

Qais reports that when Aisha Siddiqa reached near the springs of Banu Amir at night, dogs started barking there. Hazrat Aisha asked, "Which spring is this?" People informed her that it was the spring of Haw'ab. Upon hearing its name, she said, "I think I should return from here." One of her companions said, "You should keep going; when the Muslims see you, perhaps Allah will bring about reconciliation among them through you." She replied, "Once the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to us, 'What will be the condition of one of you women upon whom the dogs of Haw'ab will bark?'"
