حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا عَائِشُ ، هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ " ، فَقَالَتْ : وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ ، قَالَتْ : وَهُوَ يَرَى مَا لَا نَرَى .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) once said to me, "Aisha! Hazrat Jibreel (peace be upon him) is conveying greetings of peace to you." She replied, "And upon him be peace and the mercy of Allah." And she said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to see things which we could not see.
