حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ , قَالَ : وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي : قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ : أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ لِلْوَزَغِ : " فُوَيْسِقٌ " . وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) declared the lizard as "fawasiq" (harmful), but I did not hear him giving the order to kill the lizard.
