حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ ثَابِتِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ ، عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ مَكْحُولًا يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ مَسْرُوقِ بْنِ الْأَجْدَعِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " شَرِبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَائِمًا وَقَاعِدًا ، وَمَشَى حَافِيًا وَنَاعِلًا ، وَانْصَرَفَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ ، وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) drank water while standing and also while sitting, walked barefoot and also wearing shoes, and returned from the right side as well as from the left side.
