حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : لَمَّا أَفَاضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَرَادَ مِنْ صَفِيَّةَ بَعْضَ مَا يُرِيدُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : إِنَّهَا حَائِضٌ ، فَقَالَ : " عَقْرَى ، أَحَابِسَتُنَا هِيَ ؟ " . قَالُوا : إِنَّهَا قَدْ طَافَتْ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ، فَنَفَرَ بِهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ابْنُ مُصْعَبٍ : مَا سَمِعْتُهُ يَذْكُرُ يَعْنِي الْأَوْزَاعِيَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِلَّا مَرَّةً.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that after the Tawaf al-Ziyarah, Hazrat Safiyyah began her menstruation. This was mentioned to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Will this prevent us?" I said, "She began her menstruation after the Tawaf al-Ziyarah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then she should depart," and he set out.
