Abdullah bin Abi Qais, who was the freed slave of Ghataif bin Afif, narrates that once he went to Umm al-Mu'mineen Hazrat Aisha and greeted her with salam. She asked, "Who is this man?" He replied, "I am Abdullah, the slave of Ghataif." She asked, "The one whose father's name is Afif?" He replied, "Yes, O Mother of the Believers!" Then he asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the two rak'ahs after Asr, whether the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to perform them. She replied, "Yes!" He asked about the children of the disbelievers, so Hazrat Aisha replied that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "They will be with their forefathers." Although I had also asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Even without any deeds?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "Allah knows best what they would have done."
