Hadith 24537

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to pray eleven rak'ahs between Isha and Fajr. He would say salam after every two rak'ahs and would pray one rak'ah of Witr. In the nawafil, he would perform such a long prostration that before he raised his head, any one of you could recite fifty verses. When the muezzin finished giving the first adhan, he would pray two short rak'ahs, then lie down on his right side until the muezzin would come and inform the Prophet (peace be upon him) that it was time for prayer.
