Hadith 24328

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت : " إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيُؤْتَى بِالْإِنَاءِ ، فَأَشْرَبُ مِنْهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ ، ثُمَّ يَأْخُذُهُ ، فَيَضَعُ فَاهُ عَلَى مَوْضِعِ فِيَّ ، وَإِنْ كُنْتُ لَآخُذُ الْعَرْقَ ، فَآكُلُ مِنْهُ ، ثُمَّ يَأْخُذُهُ ، فَيَضَعُ فَاهُ عَلَى مَوْضِعِ فِيَّ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes a vessel would be presented to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I would be in my menstrual period and would drink from it, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would take it and place his mouth at the same spot where I had placed my mouth and drunk from. In the same way, I would take a bone and eat its meat, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would take it and place his mouth at the same spot where I had placed my mouth and eaten from.
