Hadith 24325

حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ ، عَنْ قَائِدِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ ، قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ ، فَحَدَّثَتْنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " صَلَاةُ الْقَاعِدِ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْقَائِمِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The reward for offering prayer while sitting is half of the reward for offering prayer while standing.
