It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that we had a mat which we used to spread out during the day and at night we would cover ourselves with it. Once, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was praying at night, and the people of the mosque came to know about it, so the next day they mentioned it to others. Consequently, many people gathered the following night. Seeing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take upon yourselves only as many deeds as you are able to bear, for Allah does not tire, but you do. The most beloved deeds to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) were those that were done consistently."
